CES (Consumer Electronics Show) is the place, where we look for the latest mobile phones releasing the following year from well known brands, but this time surprisingly – we have a well known photography inherited company ” Kodak ” set to step in the realm of smartphone fraternity with the smartphone ” Kodak IM5″. IM5 is manufactured by Bullit, a company that designs, manufactures and sells mobiles in affiliation with global brands.

Since IM5’s got the Kodak tag on it, it shouldn’t be a surprise that the Kodak has a heavy focus on photography. Kodak proclaims that editing photos on the IM5 will be effortless than ever, that can be shared via social media platforms or readily print through compatible app and printer.
Coming to specs, Kodak IM5 fits in the upper mid-range smartphone section. It’s boasts a 5″ inch 1920×1080 display, 1.7GHz octa-core processor( which sounds like MediaTek ) with 1 GB RAM, a 13 Megapixel auto focus rear camera, 5 Megapixel front camera, 8GB of internal storage with the option of microSD card expansion upto 32 GB. IM5 is powered by Android 4.4.4 KitKat custom version, but Bullitt Group and Kodak promise that the IM5 will be updated to Android Lollipop 5.0 in the near future.
