Gionee has announced new premium M smartphone series,M2017 is the first smartphone in the series. Earlier the device was spotted in Chinese telecommunication authority website TENAA. The Gionee M2017 has whooping 7000 mAh battery capacity,Gionee has incorporated dual 3500 mAh batteries. The smartphone has intelligent power management technology,which accompanied with 7000 mAh battery can keep the device running for 31 hours when on a phone call claims Gionee.
The smartphone M2017 has a sturdy build and ergonomic design. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 ,octa-core processor. Since the premium M series is targeted towards celebrities,
businessman and other prime customers the M2017 has chip-level encryption and has support to encrypted call facilities. The display unit in the device is a 5.7 inch AMOLED Quad HD screen. M2017 has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage-unit under the hood.
As far as the camera section is concerned the smartphone has 12 Mega Pixel+13 Mega Pixel dual camera setup,dual tone LED flash to the back.The front facing camera is a 8 Megapixel shooter.The physical home button in the front of the smartphone doubles as Fingerprint scanner.Though the smartphone houses a 7000 mAh battery weighs only 238 grams and measures 155.2 x 77.6 x 10.78mm. The device runs on Amigo OS 3.5 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
As far as now the device is available only to the Chinese market and M2017 is priced at CNY 6999, another variant of the device with custom Italian alligator leather back costs CNY 16,999. The smartphone comes with Bluetooth headset,leather case,Travel Charger,Type-C USB cable,Micro USB Data Cable and exquisite first layer of leather hand bag.
